Family Tracing

Family tracing

Help with family tracing is provided in a number of ways:

  • If you wish to access records we can assist with that and also provide support and counselling during the process.
  • You can use our computers, with or without support, to trace family members using Ancestry.com and other relevant databases
  • If you were a child migrant, our professional and experienced staff can liaise with Australian and overseas agencies
  • You can pre-book a one hour session with our friendly family tracing expert Edwina Shooter from the WA Genealogical Society (WAGS).

Edwina Shooter started tracing her family tree in 1974 and hasn’t stopped! Since then she has branched out to help many people trace their family history.  She has been the Volunteer Librarian for FamilyHistoryWA [operating name of the WA Genealogical Society] since late 2003, and is a Life Member of the Society.

To make an appointment for WAGS or accessing records, please contact our friendly reception staff on 08 6140 2380 or freecall 1800 619 795 or via email admin@tuartplace.org
